Hi I am Karen, I am here doing something different; something I’d never done before; something that I enjoy but out of my comfort zone – to start a blog and document my weekly progress on building cookie creations and sharing easy, small batched recipes.
Without professional training, I am just learning as I go by testing out different techniques and recipes. Trials and errors – the path to perfection (or at least one step closer to create a masterpiece someday).
The idea of naming my blog “Metamorphic Cookery” came from the term “Metamorphosis”. Simple ingredients like flour, eggs, and milk can transform to delicious cakes, cookies, and muffins. And I want to use simple cookie pieces and make them into one fine artwork. Kitchen is a place where the magic and beauty of transformations happen.
